The Guardian asks for your experiences of Mental Health Crisis Care
The Guardian have asked readers in the past to contribute their stories about crisis care in Mental Health in the United Kingdom, which highlighted some urgent problems within the system that need addressing and contributed to the research on the subject. They now need more help, and your experiences could prove vital in helping others:
“Now we’d like to ask you about your experiences with health services during an emergency mental health crisis. If you had to seek emergency help due to mental health, we would like to know what kind of response you received and how you were treated. Were you satisfied with how professionals reacted to you ? Did you feel listened to? Did you feel as though you were treated with compassion?
We’d like to hear from people who have direct experience with this or perhaps have a family member or a friend who has had to seek emergency care for mental health.”
